If you run into these problems, you then need to compete with the music, which is not on a loop. In one stage the building destruction didn't seem to register at first and made us think we had to just escape the small community, and another where we had to vacuum the cosmos but the area didn't vanish clearly and I just kept venturing forward until hitting an invisible wall I didn't know existed. While the leaps the tale takes are pretty damn hysterical, there were moments where the mechanics didn't seem to work properly or weren't particularly clear. Take the concept of Beautiful Katamari but a slow paced Roomba game driven by the goal of eradicating humanity and wiping out all existence for revenge. What starts out as a simple robotic love story becomes a tale of global domination and beyond. In fact, we had a lot of fun with how insane the story got. While multiplayer is pretty bare bones, the story mode itself is actually really interesting. ![]() ![]() I bought this more for the gimmick and multiplayer function so my fiancee and I could point and laugh at this, then put in for a refund if it was as bad as we thought it might be.
